I love camping, hiking, rock climbing, yoga, long walks with my 2 dogs. I absolutely love animals especially dogs and spend a lot of time with mine. I do enjoy being social but need that peaceful time at home watching a movie to recharge. Balance in life is very important to me. What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about my business because I truly love what I do and making my clients feel special. I also absolutely love my friends and family and am so grateful to have the people I do in my life.

What is something you could teach your partner?

Hmmm I guess you don’t know until you meet the other person but I would love to share any of my talents or skills with my partner, perhaps yoga, which is a huge grounding practice for me. Or share some of the amazing places and cultures I’ve gotten to experience.

How would your best friends describe you?

Strong willed (could be construed as stubborn?), compassionate, very responsible yet adventurous and free spirited at the same time.

What characteristics are most important when choosing a partner?

I am always attracted to kindness before physical looks. Honesty even right from the beginning is super important to me and good communication skills. I can also be pretty goofy sometimes and appreciate a good sense of humor and someone who doesn’t always take themselves or life too seriously. Laughing is medicine.

Dates scare me a little so keeping it casual for the first date, maybe meeting at a dog park and then getting a glass of wine and appetizer at a casual but delicious dog friendly place (I do love to eat!)

When were you the most proud of yourself?

Probably when I decided after 10 successful years in the finance industry to go to cosmetology school and chase after a lifelong dream of owning my own salon one day. I was very financially comfortable and great at my job but was working a lot and not fulfilled or happy with my current path. It was super challenging but I didn’t give up and now own my business that I’m super proud of.

Favorite local hidden gem/favorite place

I love liberty station, something for everyone there wether it be paddle boarding or having an amazing meal.

Show or movie you won’t shut up about

Cheesy but true, I loved the new top gun movie! Probably a lot for nostalgia purposes because it was filmed in San Diego and fun to see all of these places I’ve been around for over 20 years. And I do feel the need for speed haha

Describe your perfect Saturday

Well depends on my mood. Sometimes I love this time to recharge since I work on my feet and talking/socializing with my clients all week. Maybe going for an urban hike in a new or not my normal neighborhood with my dogs and hitting up a local brewery for food beers and live music.

I have been to a couple already, Greece and Thailand and my next destination early next year is Bali
